Building CRM Knowledge

Welcome digital economists. In this week's blog, I will discuss what I learned from Trailhead by Salesforce. Trailhead is a fun quick way to learn skills over a wide range of topics that are in demand. I will share what I learned🤔 and hopefully, you decide to give Trailhead a go too.

Marketing Intelligence and Analytics

As a marketer, the first module I looked at was Marketing Intelligence and Analytics. This then helped me learn about Transforming Analytics with Marketing Intelligence, by breaking down key marketing tech words simply to give you a greater understanding of the topic.

The second section within Marketing Intelligence and Analytics taught you how to use Marketing intelligence to grow a business. Explaining such things as the Role of a Growth marketer (which I had previously never even heard of😮), how to build budget transparency and how to measure KPIs with confidence.

Digital Advertising: Quick Look

The second module I engaged in was Digital Advertising: Quick Look. This included a short 4-minute illustrated video where I learned what makes an effective digital advertiser and how to make stellar campaigns in the GDPR world. After the video, I learned the three main steps to make an effective digital Ad campaign:

1)-Activate your first-party data- This basically just means using the most basic data (names, addresses, email)you have to your advantage, through the power of personalisation.

2)-Optimizing Advertising Spend- All this is, is using your advertising budget efficiently through segmentation. Rather than throwing money away mass advertising.

3)-Grow your data- Growing your customer base by using similar attributes to your main consumers.

Product Launch Strategy: Quick Look

Lastly, I looked at the Product launch strategy.  I discovered that not only is it the unveiling of a product but also the specific It is also the specific point that propels a product onward. I also learned about the three types of product launches, marketing/soft, Generally available(GA), and solution launches. Salesforce themselves also described how they launch a product, however, I believe the above is more interesting and relevant.

Thanks So much for reading guys, I hope you found this week's read interesting😁.
